Lets Practice some of the basics along with the principle of animation in more practical manner. Here is mine with a bouncing ball which defines timing and spacing as well as use of squash and stretch. Come on guys every body can contribute, critic and grow. Lets have fun with flash as a tool in an animation way.

I have a comment on your bouncing ball animation. I see you have the timing down but not squash and stretch. When the ball strikes the ground, it does not change shape at all, which might be what happens in real life with, say, a lacrosse ball, but a basic animation class would emphasize reshaping the ball to give it anticipation and reaction.

Next would be a walk cycle, if you're followed the animator's survival kit.
