Animation graduate from fayetteville, NC. Currently working on a portfolio to find work for an animation studio. I started my sketchblog, "SoggyGrits" in 2006, and I have been keeping it updated with my latest artwork. I try to show my work off all over the art community online. Channel Frederator is a great place to see new cartoons and new styles. I hope that my art can contribute. Yea!

About Me:
I love to read books, hardcover copies only. I dig philosophy, psychology, astromony, history, chemistry; I love to learn. My studies help me create cartoons with substance, something viewers will enjoy for it's style as well as it's message. I love art, and I draw constantly. Even on my worst days, in the worst kind of rut, I still fill my sketchbooks with lines and shapes.
Favorite Cartoons:
Looney Tunes, Merrie Melodies, Dexter's Laboratory, Ren and Stimpy, Samurai Jack, Darkwing Duck, Batman: TAS, Invader Zim, Justice League (Unlimited), Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Family Guy, Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy
Favorite Films:
Happiness Machines, Downfall, Tim Burton's films, Alfred Hitchcock's films, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Bambi, Akira, Frankenstein, Perfume, The Exorcist, there are too many films and documentaries to remember

Lucky for me, all my favorite TV shows are on DVD now.

My sketchblog

What started as a sketch out of boredom at work, later turned out to be nice piece to practice my coloring skills on. After listening to Cowboy Bebop soundtrack for a couple of hours, I was inspired to give him a name: OuterSpace Boy.br

Cartoon Fundamentals

I am currently participating with a bunch of other artists drawing from the Preston Blair book. I'm sure everyone here at RAW has their own copy. Drawing with other artists online is a great, and therapeutic experience for me. Keeps me focused on my goals. Check it out

character designer

I got back into my sketchbook this month after months of busy work at the full-time job. I hope I'll have enough artwork in time to ship my portfolio to places like Nickelodeon, and Satzinger & Hardenburg to work.
