- rule of thumb is for you to say the words slowly and then go according to that. if its some thing like a title sequence i wouldn't leave it up for more than 3 sec, but if is a sentence or longer go by the rule. and have other people look at it too. see if they can read it. Good to hear your getting a jump start. That kind of enthusiasm is really helpful in our line of work. =)
