Today after I was finishing up working on my animation final, I met a Disney Animator by the name of Andreas Deja. This was a really cool experience. Andreas Deja was giving a lecture about his experience for working with Disney. Mr. Deja showed us some original sketches/model sheets, of the villains he worked on. He drew some sketches in front of us,discussing character design.and he also talked about the Lion King, and the other films he worked on. After the lecture, a small group of went and talked to him about animation, and today's industry.This was a really great experience, as a student animator. After the lecture, me and a other group of students, had a chance to talk to him. We talked about several things. When we were talking to him, we talked about the following:The Nine Old Men, our favorite films of Disney, how the digital age is affecting hand drawn animation, what Disney uses for 2d hand drawn software, and much more. Today was a really awesome day.
