Cheap Animation Software?

Is there any cheap (IE: Under $300) animation software? Is it easy to use? Designed with newbs in mind? ECT? Just wondering. My job (Mowing lawns) is no longer supporting me, so I don't have the same income as I used to. So, how 'bout it?

My buddy has the professional version of flipbook, and it seems to function much like istopmotion. Also, does the version you're talking about have onion skinning?

I think it's important to note that istop has motion capture, which is pretty cool. The trade off though is that you can't draw in the program like you can with flipbook. Also, you can't use istop with PC, which is probably its biggest drawback.; ▶ Reply to This

Both are Mac/PC compatible, available from www.toonboom.com.
