Profile

Tell us your story:
A lonely filmmaker who is seeking for stardom! Yeah, it sounds pretty presumptious at best but hey, this is what we've longed for, right? Anyway, I've loved to make a cinematic cartoon series as a starting line and probably, I'd like to learn to make live-action film as well (for me, basically, animation and live-action both have the same exact function: entertain the viewers of all ages)!

For the Fan Cartoon Here:
My friends and I are currently making fan-cartoon created by Anthony 'A-Log' LoGatto, the Santos Brothers and Glen B.Wang, now also available at Youtube. It tells the adventures of lone wolf Suzuki and her elite of female androids, 'The Scarlet Steels' as they must fight for what is right against the menaces of the universe. Characters and concepts are based on A-Log's fanfic and fancomic 'World Robot Competition' and the Santos Brothers' award-winning webcomic (which unfortunately passes the first place beacon to someone else).
Hometown:
Tuaran, Sabah, Malaysia
About Me:
I am filmmaker, cartoonist and animator who is now living in my own private studio, creating and producing experimental animated projects as well as drawing comic strips. And yep, still seeking for a better animation studio that provides everything to yet creating an awesome cartoon in Malaysia...
Favorite Cartoons:
Samurai Jack, Batman: The Animated Series, Cowboy Bebop, Invader Zim, other classic cel-animated cartoons specially from the 80s and 90s.
Favorite Films:
The Star Wars saga, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Citizen Kane, movies by Steven Spielberg, Sergio Leone, Stanley Kubrick, Tim Burton, any good movies I can think of (I admit I'm a film/DVD fanatic!).
Favorite TV Shows:
Monk, House M.D., Doctor Who, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Midsomer Murders, The Prisoner
Favorite Comics:
Sin City, the Texas Steampunk series, comic books by Lat and Rejabhad, Calvin and Hobbes
Favorite Books:
Frank Herbert's Dune Chronicles, the Hainish series and other books by Ursula K Le Guin
Favorite Artists or Illustrators:
Yoshitaka Amano, Genndy Tartakovsky, Bruce Timm, Mary Blair, Brad Bird
Favorite Music:
Orchestrated music, New Age, techno music and jazz songs, Scatman John, Ennio Morricone, John Williams
Favorite Robots:
XJ-9, the Iron Giant. the Decepticons, Tom Servo & Crow T. Robot

AN EXCERPT FROM MY EXPERIMENTAL WORK: I get a little bored due to the lack of new things on my website and the technical difficulties that plague the latest Tsunami teaser lately, so I decide to post one of my experimental works called The Raygun Boys for your viewing pleasure! And the second teaser trailer, depicting her all-female elite, The Scarlet Steels! This is the first teaser trailer, depicting the first title character!

The Passing Of An Old Era And The Coming Of A New Dawn...

It's been a long time since I last post the previous blog, considering I'm not a big fan of posting stuff that will never be read by anyone in the entire world (mostly, I only receive only one or three comments, nothing more). But today there is something that I need to say here after reading the most pivotal and sorrowful news on the Net: Ollie Johnston, the sole survivor of Disney's Nine Old Men, has passed away recently due to old age. Although not as surprising as expected, it's kinda heart… Continue

As 2007 fell apart in small pieces, leftovers are rearranged to create an uncertain future!

Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye,

to the good old times,

Hello, hello, hello,

to destinies that are yet to be discovered!

With new fancy stuff and decorations,

come all sorts of weird and dangerous concoctions;

With handle bars and discs and pens,

and tons of nutty concepts that would scream, 'Eureka!'

But then again, never expect yourself to hit big

Tis' the season to be glad of!

Today was the day when my mum and I were for a traditional shopping spree, buying things for our beloved family members, including my sister who is coming here for the same reason as well (whether I should be thankful or puking that depends on her behavior and rationality). At first, the shopping complex was not even half the numbers occupying the building, which was good, considering this was also the day when the Malaysian Muslims celebrated something else (I assure you it's not Al-Fitr). S…

Another Boring Day At My Own Little Place

Hi everyone!

Thanks for your overwhelming response to my most recent works that I've made so far this year! Yep, 2007 is going down into memory lane, the skies keep shifting the clouds like a mad trickster and best of all, good ol' Santa is about to rule the season once again! Not much to say though within my little room, somewhere on a large island with nothing more than crippling cultures, rotten smells and 'empty shells'. It's some sort of a feeling that you would always encounter w…

Hello There!

This is my first blog on the newly established Channel Federator RAW! Basically, this is another great opportunity to expose some of my works to every person who is working in the animation industry! For now, I'll be posting videos of my latest fan cartoon called Suzuki Tsunami and the Scarlet Steels, also now showing on Youtube. If you wonder what it's all about, you can read the description on my website; it's also a show created by my other three pals, A-Log and the Santos Brothers. Basica…
