Make sure to keep the packaging in case you need to return anything!

Its a neat little camera, I hope it works out.

It's a Samsung - MiniDV Camcorder with 2.7" LCD Monitor. It's only about $200 at Best Buy (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8682829&type=product&id=1198286370318).
It doesn't come with a firewire so you have to order that too.
So far it's worked really well with istop.
